Supercharge Your Homeschool Science Studies

Worried about teaching middle school science? Supercharge your child's science lessons with this online curriculum.

Thank you for joining me on Day 1 of my 5-day series "Super Easy Ways to Teach Middle School Science."

The very idea of teaching middle school science can strike fear into a parent.

- "I don't remember all that stuff."
- "I've never been good at science."
- "I was pretty good at science, but am what if I miss something along the way?"
- "Will I be able to prepare my child for high school science?"

Trust me. You can do this.

One option for teaching middle school science is to leave the task in the hands of a science instructor. That's what I'm doing this year.

Supercharged Science is the easiest way to teach science.

In researching how I would teach middle school science this year, I discovered Supercharged Science, an online science curriculum.

This curriculum is so kid-friendly that you can simply set your child up at the computer and leave the rest to the instructor. I'm serious. It doesn't get much easier than that. Of course you are free to join in on the fun. The point is: It's easy.

With this curriculum, you can feel confident that your child is learning all they need to in this subject of science because they're learning from a science instructor.

Don't get the idea that this is a boring online class or two.

This is a full curriculum with 800+ hands-on science activities, projects and experiments. You know what else is great? The materials for these experiments are items you most likely have lying around the house.

Easy and inexpensive!

It's so easy that your child could do this free chemistry lesson right now.

Supercharged Science offers a quality education in the sciences.

What do the kids learn? Rocketry? Robotics? Magnetism? Chemistry?

Yes. They learn those things and so much more.

What I particularly enjoy about this curriculum is that the instructors don't teach science the way say is conducted. What I mean to say is - think about when you were in school. What was science class like? A lot of reading and writing with an occasional experiment thrown in somewhere, right?

Is that the way scientists work? Of course not.

Real scientists spend most of their time questioning, theorizing, hypothesizing and testing their ideas. Once they've done those things, they begin writing their findings and perhaps doing a little more research.

That's exactly how the instructor at Supercharged Science teaches your child.

I signed Lorelai up for the summer e-camp a few months ago. We have been so pleased with it that we've pre-registered for the e-Science curriculum for the school year.

Alexis and Lorelai will be taking their middle and high school science courses through Supercharged Science this year. It's nice to have one less thing to do and know that the girls are receiving a quality education in the sciences.

If you're not sure, download this free science activity manual and video collection. ($30 value). I promise you won't be disappointed.

  1. It's funny, how many of us chose science topics this time around for our 5 Day series.

    1. It really is. I associate you with the science topics, but a lot of us chose it this time. I know why I did - I'm thrilled about Supercharged Science (and that I don't have to teach the subject)! lol
