Not Back-to-School Student Photos 2012

Not Back to School Blog Hop

Can you believe we've already reached the third week of the NOT Back-to-School Blog Hop? This is Student Photo week and is probably my favorite blog post of the series. Because we spend a good amount of time doing lessons outside, hiking, doing nature studies and such, I thought it would be cute to create an outdoor classroom. (Don't we homeschoolers always proclaim that 'the world is our classroom'?) I thought it would be cute, too, to have the girls with classic books, a vintage looking chair and dressed as though they were going to school (ya know..once upon a time when kids dressed up to go to school). The photos came out great and it's very difficult to decide which photos to post. I want to share all 140 with you!

*Note: The blog shrinking the photos takes away from the clarity. But if you click a photo, it will enlarge them and you can view them all in the picture viewer.

Lorelai- age 9
Loves dancing, cooking, playing in mud and collecting caterpillars, crickets,
lizards and other lil' critters. She is also cat-lover of the highest degree.
Alexis- age 14
Loves to write, dance and draw anime. Very quite child.
(NOT interested in cooking, lil' outdoor critters and such.)

One of the many "silly" shots that were captured that day.

The children decided to "model" for the photographer.

Have you seen our curriculum and "school room"?

Happy Homeschooling!
