Not Back to School Photos 2011

I am so happy to be "back to homeschool" and so are the girls. Today, we had my friend and fellow homeschool mom, Amy, come over for a photo shoot. I wanted photos of the girls homeschooling to use both as student photos and for our yearbook/scrapbooks we'll be making this year. Here is a sample of the images from Amy Duffy Photography.

First a few "in action" photos followed by actual head shots which will serve as photos on their Homeschool ID cards:





















What special things do you do to preserve your homeschool memories? Do you have "school photos" taken too?

    Great pictures!  Last year I took one picture of Austin at his "desk" on the first day of school, but that was it.  I should take several!

    I was looking for the "like" button *roll eyes* silly me!
    I was going to say that the photos I saw looked like what you would see in a magazine! They look great!

    There are several places to order them. I've used the ones from
    http://www.homeschoolbuyersco-op.org/homeschool-id/ which are very inexpensive and offer a "Free" option if you want to make them yourself (which I did not.)

    Also, there is http://www.homeschoolid.com/ and if you have an HSLDA membership, there is a discount.

    Beautiful pictures.  I try to save our memories through photos throughout the year.  In addition to photos, both of my girls pick a journal at the beginning of the year to write in everyday.  I love reading them at the end of the year.
